Great everyday film for people on a tight budget.. Nice accurate colors without it being too saturated.

Pretty satisfied with my shots taken with the Olympus Infinity Stylus Continue reading

Getting back into Film

It feels great to shoot film again, this time with a more compact camera! The last time I shot film was towards the end of February. I have been out of the loop for quite a long time because of work but hopefully, I can start posting about the long overdue trips I took around May and June. Continue reading

Black and White Film

Standard

Over the past month, I decided to switch it up and experiment with the Ilford Delta 400 Black and White Negative roll to see how much I would enjoy black and white. While I thoroughly enjoyed the results that came back, I didn’t like how long it took to process the roll. Samy’s Camera is my go-to place to develop my rolls and the process to develop color takes about a day while black and white they would have to ship it out to another place for processing and that takes about a week. That reason alone is why I’ll probably go back to color for now until I find another place that can process black and white a bit faster. It takes me quite a long time before I finish a roll so it would be nice if I could see the results a day or two afterward.

*On a side note, having 36 exposures on a roll is quite wonderful!! You get your money’s worth everytime you process them.

Film Roll #3

One of the biggest downsides of shooting film is the time it takes to complete a roll and get it developed. This roll took almost a month to complete but the results definitely made it worth it.

Downtown Long Beach: I had to wait about an hour to submit in some plans to City Hall in Long Beach so I used that time to explore the vicinity.  Continue reading

I wanted to try something new since I have recently gotten into film photography. Here are the shots I took on my Nikon F3T that ended up being pretty good. Surprisingly, I was able to get some great shots just on my second roll of film. Be sure to check out my first experimental roll post, with that being said – Film Roll #2 Little Tokyo, Los Angeles
